IMANI Launches A Comprehensive Study Of Ghana’s Business Environment From 2011 To 2016

IMANI in collaboration with the Business Sector Advocacy Challenge Fund (BUSAC) undertook a comprehensive study of Ghana’s business environment from 2011 to 2016.

The overarching rationale for this in-depth assessment was mainly to take stock of the shifts in key macroeconomic indicators and how these changes has impacted businesses over the last five years.

Clearly, the importance of the such a comprehensive unbiased study simply cannot be overemphasized especially in a political climate like we are experiencing where facts can easily be manipulated to suit specific political interests.

Whiles some sections of this report have been published, this launch will give key stakeholders and crucially the media an opportunity to interrogate the report as we all seek to understand the challenges that plagues businesses and help fashion out policies that can help arrest the declines we have experienced over the last couple of years.

The launch will also give the IMANI research team an opportunity to interact with our friends in the media and other public and private sector stakeholders about our research and advocacy methods in our bid to deepen our relations with our key stakeholders.
