The Economic Case for Tax Havens

The Cato Center for Freedom and Prosperity has released mini-documentaries on the case for tax havens. Tax havens, according to the Center’s director, Dan Mitchell are jurisdictions that ensures a. "attractive tax laws for global investors and entrepreneurs" and b. "protects fiscal sovereignty by not putting foreign tax law above domestic tax law" . These documentaries are particularly targeted at Politicians in the OECD block, who think tax havens are economically and morally offensive, as well as those in the developing world ,contemplating higher taxes to prosecute their programmes.
