South Africa’s National Health Insurance Plan Unworkable

EustaceThe South African government’s latest national health insurance (NHI) plan will make medical insurance compulsory, outlaw private medical schemes, and will place the management of all health insurance under the control of a single public administration. The plan, if adopted and implemented by government, is doomed to fail.
