This issue of the journal on the theme ‘Power to people’ comes as we enter a new decade. Power for what purpose? Power for each person to achieve his or her goals. We all crave this power. It comes not in the form of hand-outs, but of keys – keys which can open doors to opportunities for meeting the needs of other people, and thereby meeting our own needs.
