School Term Delayed by Floods. (BBC)

The devastating aftermath of floods in Tanzania is causing thousands of school children delay in resuming for the new term. People who had their homes destroyed by the rains have sort refuge in the school buildings. Soldiers are working in the central kilosa district to build temporary accommodation for over 9,000 people who have been displaced. The floods have affected some 33,000 people around the country.

Pupils in the schools being used as residents have not been able to have lessons and school authorities fear it will affect the children’s education.
