The just ended Namibian elections went in favor of incumbent president Hifikepunye Pohamba. He won a 76.4% of the vote in last week’s elections. A number of opposition parties that took part in the elections have declared they will contest the results because they believe there was some voting and counting irregularities.

African observer missions who were in the country to observe the election says, the elections were free and fair.
