Muslim Brotherhood’s Mursi Elected Egypt’s President

The Higher Presidential Elections Commission (HPEC) under Counselor Farouq Sultan announced on 24/6/2012 Dr. Mohamed Mohamed Morsi Eisaa Al-Ayyat as the president of Egypt.

That came at a press conference held on 24/6/2012 at State Information Service (SIS).

The Presidential Elections Committee announced the Muslim Brotherhood's Mohamed Mursi Egypt's president.

Mursi won the run-off of Egypt's presidential election with 13,230,131 against his opponent, Ahmed Shafiq, who followed with 12,348,380.
