Egypt Signs Deal With Europe And China To Revamp Tram And Train Systems

Egypt has signed a memorandum of understanding with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to fund the expansion of its Heliopolis tram.

China is also contributing to the reconstruction, which aims to overhaul Egypt’s railway system.
